Ever since Takahiro Omori won the Bassmaster Elite event at Lake Wheeler, we have been hard at work trying to design the best top water bait that will bring many more trophies to our Pro Team. The larger profile of the Super Sammy 132 displaces a lot of water with its walk-the-dog action. The constant side-to-side twitch draws fish from a greater distance to generate more strikes. We spent an intensive 3 days with Takahiro at Lake Fork testing the Super Sammy prototype. It was already an early summer pattern, with all of the big fish down at about 20ft. Takahiro knew that this would play a factor in trying to entice those bigger fish to come up shallow. He was adamant he could get them to bite though, and after some persistence, he finally caught a very memorial 10lb bass. Needless to say, this bait will absolutely help you catch a BIG FISH out there. Since Takahiro caught this memorable 10lb fish on this prototype, this lure will be called the SUPER SAMMY 10LB!
