The Owner ST-36 Red Treble Hooks are great for changing out hooks on your favorite lures for bass, walleye, stripers, and many other smaller game fish. These hooks are 1X strong meaning that they are regular strength hooks. When a hook is 2X, it's twice as strong as the 1X and so on. Owner makes 2X, 3X, and 4X strong in different models like the ST-41, ST-58, and ST-66.

These hooks are red in color but Owner makes them in other colors like Black Chrome and Tin. Tin hooks are good for freshwater and saltwater but shine in saltwater because the tin finish is more corrosion resistant.

The PB Rat Wakebaits come stock with gnarley VMC Split Rings and Owner Stinger Treble size 1 in the rear and 1/0 in the front.  PB Rats do come in solid colors however the swirl patterns are unique and no two swirl patterns are the same.  Tail colors may vary and are held on with a screw lock and can be easily changed after being chewed.

We like it weightless texas rigged as well as wacky rigged depending on what the fish want.  

If you're using the wacky method, try using an O Ring or clear band, we have both here, to minimize damage to the worm and catch more fish on each worm.  Our go-to color is green pumpkin, and is arguable the most popular color ever made.  However, if the water is stained or muddy, using a color that has chartreuse or a lot of flake can have better results.  

The hook we use is an Owner Twistlock 5/0 and we typically use it unweighted.  If we are fishing deeper than 20ft, we will us the weighted version of this hook to help us get deeper quicker.
