Drop Shot Rig This is one of the most popular and effective methods for the Uni, allowing it to hover and dance subtly off the bottom in deeper water or around structure. Nose-hook the bait through the solid central body with a #1 or #2 octopus hook, tied 12-24 inches above a drop shot weight (1/8 to 3/8 oz depending on depth and current).
