Castaic Lake Fishing Report – 08/23/2020

Since the lake has been closed since August 12th, this fish report is a fire update instead.

The “Lake” fire is about 55% contained and fire crews are not expecting full containment until just before Labor Day weekend. 

Both the upper and lower lakes remains closed as the numerous fire crews are using the swim beaches and parking lots as a base camp.
